Larchpaw padded up to the Moonpool. Anxiety clawed at her belly like a hungry fox. Would Starclan accept her as a Medicine Cat apprentice? She bent down and touched her nose to the Moonpool. The water was icy yet a blanket of warmth spread through her. Then as quickly as it had come, the warmth was gone, only to be replaced by an endless void of cold and darkness. Alarm shot through Larchpaw. This was not what Starclan was supposed to feel like and she knew it. Larchpaw realized that she had clenched her eyes tight when the coldness had alarmed her. She snapped them open only to wish he hadn't. Managing to calm herself she started to take note of her surroundings. She was in a dark gloomy forest were no light shone through the thick canopy. She took a cautious paw step forward. With out warning the ground gave way and Larchpaw was falling. Would she die? Was she already dead? A menacing laugh surrounded her, echoing against the darkness. Farther below she saw Cold yellow eyes and the jaws of a cat that opened up to swallow her. She knew it, she would surely die. She braced herself for the teeth. She got ready for the feel of a thousand thorns to break her skin and swallow her blood.
Larchpaw woke with a jolt. She was still alive, sitting next to the Moonpool gazing into it depths. She knew that vision would haunt her until it happened. Something was coming, coming for her, to rip her, to tear her apart. The only thing that puzzled her was, why it had happened? Why her? There was nothing special about her.
The clearing started to glow, and the same warmth spread over her from before. A clear voice rang out.
You have more to do with the prophecy than you realize.
The soft voice comforted her, but Larchpaw padded into to camp, tail drooping, and eyes haunted by her terrifying vision.

A young, fluffy gray she-cat wanders upon the moonpool. Her misty green eyes shown with happiness.
"I found it!"She mews happily. After traveling for so many moons she couldn't count, she had found her way to the mirrored night, the place where the cats that were in her dreams told her too come. She walked up to the edge and gazed into its still waters, the night sky reflected into the water. The message the cats had given her was clear: She was to stay at moonpool until a cat found her, at least thats what she thought.
They had said "Go to where the night is mirrored, and wait for the end."
Her dreams were so confusing! But she thought that she should wait, so she did.
